The Bride and Groom on their wedding day.
Wedding guests that participated in the 5K
Nicole and Brad finishing together.
My Dad, finishing dead last--but finishing--supporting his grandkids. His first and only 5K
when he was one month short of 80 years.
The shirts said, Off to a Running Start.
They are still running—literally and figuratively!
Later in the late afternoon—
officially Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Rowell

What a beautiful post, I had a tear in my eye reading about your dad and how he supported his grandchildren. Happy Anniversary to Nicole and Brad. Thank you for sharing.......:-) Hugs
I had forgotten that Dad ran the whole way.(However, I was sort of in a place of my own during that time).
A great post and a tribute not only to Brad and Nicole, but to Dad. Donna

I loved this post Brenda, what an unusual wedding day, very, very memorable! I was so impressed with your dad! I will be so grateful if I'm still walking at 80!
OK...How could I forget that YOU are running today (right? Or is it tomorrow?) Here in Huron OH it is cool and beautiful. I hope the same for you.
And WHAT a picture and story of Walter! That's a side I never knew of him.
By the way, I'm going to get an earplug and cord and invest in a few pocket T-shirts. What a great plan!
