I Resolve . . .

Finally
Almost two weeks into the New Year
I came up with a resolution.
I can live with this.

I resolve to go to Chicago more often.

Alone or with friends

Using Priceline

Or just for a day

Because of the Art Institute

And Millenium Park

For an outdoor concert

And a good place to eat

That serve foods like this

And also like this

To visit churches

And to walk the streets

Whatever the weather

Just because . . .

Looks like I'll have to resolve to go with you once in a while. Liked your photos.

Hi Bernie,

Chicago is only about 45 minutes from where I live. Even so, it seems like we do not get there very often and I love to go. I figure this is an easier resolution to keep than deciding to lose weight or exercise regularly or to cut out sugar . . . It is not much of a real resolution and is a little tongue in cheek. But it would be fun.

Looks a lot more interesting than Cleveland, which is our nearest big city (an hour away)...I love the picture of that old church, and the out door ice skating. Thanks for sharing!

Just stopping by, hope you don't mind.

Sounds like a great resolution! Chicago is one of those places that I hope to visit someday. It looks incredible! Not sure I want to go in the wintertime though! I'm a California girl!

I've never been to Chicago, but my husband was stationed at an Air Force Base, near there years ago. I would work hard at keeping that resolution Brenda!

I have only driven through...scary traffic. Your photos make it look so inticing.

I just might "steal" (or "borrow") these! What great resolutions!
