Dolly is her given name. Dolly’s unique talent is that she can say more words per minute than an auctioneer and she never runs out of things to say. It reminds me of a word juggler that never drops a comma or space. She is amazing!
Aunt Bonnie, Mary, Cindy and I recently helped Dolly celebrate her 80th birthday. It was a delight. There was a name game, an old movie, scarves, visors, glasses, marshmallow guns, flamingo decorations and parfait glasses. There was delicious food, a pontoon ride, a campus tour, gifts, shopping and more.
I am pretty sure that Dolly has enough new talking points to last for another ten years. The next day, back at home, I asked Dolly, “What was your favorite part?”
For a few minutes, she could not decide. Dolly was speechless!
Cindy, that indicates more than words how well you blessed your mother.
Thank you. In honoring her, you blessed us all.

Brenda, how wonderful that all of you took the time to share Dolly's 80th birthday and make it so special for her.
What a wonderful group you are and I am sure Dolly feels blessed to have all of you in her life.
It also sounds like a lot of fun was had by all and I am sure you have made Dolly a very happy lady.
God Bless you all.....:-) Hugs
What a fun day! Did you color-coordinate your 'cover-ups' on purpose? What a hoot--5 "old" ladies having fun and celebrating.
What a fun day!
HELLO ANNETTE!!!
What fun you had Brenda...your scarves and pretend names displayed on your backs were cute...but not as cute as your blue outfits!
Smiles,
Wanda
Congratulations to Dolly! It great that you documented it with lots of pictures. We celebrate my mom-in-love's 80th on Saturday. A big day planned by all.
I had a good time vicariously. (FYI: I have a dress that would fit in the next time you all get together! Hint, hint!)
Oh Brenda you looked so pretty in your blue dress! What a fun time you must have had and great memories to boot!
