Precious Faces of Summer

Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer
Dust off the sun and moon and sing a song of cheer . . .

I am so proud of Morgan. She overcame her fear of bees
and worked with Grandpa in two beeyards for four hours.

Ryan: "Do you happen to have any bad ones to tame?"

Seamus—our "professional" biker

Jackson the kneeboarder, high diver, water wonder . . .

Lilly the boat driver and so much more

Two sweetest: the oldest and youngest
Great Grandma (94 years) and Allie (6 weeks)

Jacob--swinging high--the truck man

Hale--his face tells all.

Grif--seeing life from another perspective

Yay! White Sox in first place at the All Star break.

Jessica--fisherman, cayaker, expert tuber

Steven is our best skier--Gets up on one ski

Sorry the picture doesn't go with the words.
It is hard to get a good ski photo from the beach.
Steven is a jack of all trades.

David--the baseball, basketball and football player

Kent--the Leader of the Pack
In so many ways . . .

Kent went on a two week canoe trip this summer.

Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer
You'll wish that summer could always be here.

Really cute pics! Summer activities are wonderful for kids--it seems like it just started, and yet it's almost over!

Assuming you've captured the essence of each of them, I feel like I KNOW them! Great pictures with many, many stories behind them (I know)!

Your lovely bunch is having summer fun for sure, Brenda.
Like me you seem to have more grandsons than granddaughters!

There's a lot of swimming, camping and dirtbike riding here too(in between the rain)!

I started to tear up when I saw the youngest and oldest photo! How precious is that!!! I love summer too and wish it lasted a little longer around here. My hubby's family used to do boating and water skiing and one of my fun memories is that my not yet father-in-law got me up on skis...I am not an athletic type at all but oh was it fun while it lasted! Haven't done it for 30 years as I quit by the time I thought I was pregnant with our first one...But bring on all the summer fun...I feel like I'm on "vacation" when I can get outside and enjoy it! Great, great photos you have and even greater memories you are making!!

Your photo's are great. Your grands sre going to be so grateful one day to have all these wonderful memories on film to show their kids. Even with the medical stuff going on in my family...I am greatly enjoying this summer. I hope to be back to my blog in a couple of weeks...I miss it!
